My two favorite talk radio shows are Mike Rosen and Hugh Hewitt, which I download the mp3's and listen to while at work all day.
I can't tell you how many times I have heard someone call in to either show and say that they are either a Moderate or a Centrist or they even describe themselves as slightly left or right to center. Come on, make a stand, get off that fence. Decide where you stand based on facts and for your own personal reasons because unless you are voting in a local (meaning city or county) election you have to vote either Democrat or Republican. Choose the coalition that best describes you and vote for them because Party trumps the politician.
In order to make this easier for you I wanted to make it a visual chart of coalitions and beliefs so that anyone can see where they stand.
REPUBLICANS | DEMOCRATS
|
| Conservatives Capitalism Free Market Family Values Libertarian (fiscal) Pro-Life Low Taxes Flat Tax Rate Smaller Government Private Company Solutions Pro 2nd Amendment Pro Facts Individual Rights Strict Constitution | Liberals Socialism Statism Socially Liberal Libertarian (social) Pro-Abortion High Taxes Progressive Tax Rate Larger Government Government Monopolies Gun Control/Elimination Pro Emotion Government Control Bend the Constitution |
For example, even though I am more of a social libertarian that is only one of 14 issues under the Democrat side that I can back. I am way more Pro Capitalism on economic issues to out weigh the social issues and I also understand that with Free Markets and Free Economies breeds free peoples and social issues. So that is why I stand with the Republicans and will only vote for Republicans.
